Our hearts break for the lives lost and impacted by the typhoon in the Philippines. Let’s take a moment to pray for these hurt and confused families durning this tragic time.
There has been a terrible lack of posts recognizing the Philippine Typhoon and that’s why I’m making this post. The Philippines just had the WORST typhoon in history called, Haiyan. Now if you have no idea about the severity, the wind speeds of this typhoon was about 250 mph, which is THREE AND A HALF TIMES THE SPEED OF THE WINDS OF HURRICANE KATRINA. imagine the damage Katrina did to the US, a developed country. The Philippines is a Third world country. Most of the people in this country live in SHACKS MADE OUT OF TRASH. It is estimated that about 10,000 PEOPLE DIED. Dead bodies literally litter the streets and are STUCK IN TREES. IF YOU GIVE ANY SHITS TODAY ABOUT FELLOW HUMANITY YOU BETTER REBLOG THIS. IM NOT ONLY DOING THIS BECAUSE MY FAMILY IS FILIPINO BUT BECAUSE THIS STORM WAS THE WORST IN HISTORY. GOD BLESS THE SOULS LOST THERE. My parents were seriously almost on the verge of tears and almost screaming. We didn’t lose anybody in our family, but it has got to hurt to know that the place you came from is IN SHAMBLES. Pls spread this if you care
I have a lot of Filipino friends and people I cherish a lot! If you could donate to the cause that would be great!

As always, perform due diligence with ANY and ALL charity groups and/or non-profits soliciting donations for victims of natural disasters. Give help, but don’t give blindly. Remember: in most (if not all) cases, financial donations will make the most impact. Also, here is Google’s Person Finder to help families separated by the storm locate one another. Tumblr: please reblog and share this and keep the people of the central Philippines in your thoughts and prayers.

Last Nov.8, a typhoon Yolanda ravaged many cities and provinces in our country and because of that many families are stranded in their different shelters without any food, clothing and most of them lost their own homes. Communication lines and electricity shut down because of the strong winds that almost wiped every houses in the area. Many lost their families and loved ones when storm surges hits the shelters they thought would keep them safe.
We have some relatives in some of the provinces affected and they had texted us that they were okay and that the rain had already stopped. But as of now, we cannot call them back. It was only this day that news and videos about the storm and the families affected were aired and it really breaks my heart seeing those footages. People had no choice but to loot those grocery stores for foods to fill their empty stomachs, clothings to warm them. It really is sad if you ever had a chance to see them.
But I know that they are going to be okay because I know God is with them after all this. So I want to ask you to include them in your prayers and be a blessing to them even if you are hundreds or thousands of miles away from these people. They need us as much as they need God. You may not physically help them, but your prayers are a big help in their lives.
For those who want to help and donate, here is Sagip Kapamilya who accepts donation in cash or in-kind.
God bless you all and may you be a blessing to all. <3

If you have notice, I haven’t posted anything or even made any presence for the past month(s). I’ve been struggling with my spiritual life at those times. A reason why I stopped posting in this blog. I don’t know if I could put into words how I felt at those moments I’ve avoided God from coming into my life. I was so mad at Him for a reason I don’t even know. I’ve made a wall between us so thick and tall that I fall out of His grace and that’s where I’ve sinned. The evil made me see my past and I held onto it again and I thought I could be happy. Even though I know it was wrong, I got blinded and made it overcome me instead.
No one knows about this before. I didn’t tell anyone. I was suffering with my own sins to myself. My churchmates have been calling me but I didn’t answer their calls. I stopped reading the Bible. I have plugged out all my connections with God. And I even got angrier with my life because of the problems started happening to our family. There was even a time when I said to myself that this was it. I’m over with all the spiritual life and God, church, etc.
But I was so amazed, how one single moment can change those things. I was just there, sitting, thinking into oblivion where God spoke to me. I realized how I’ve been so alone and lonely that time that I realize I needed someone’s companionship, not just anyone’s, but God’s. And in those brief silence, I gave it all up once again to Him.
This is what I love most about God: That even a thousand times you fail and turn on Him, He will never stop loving you.
Might as well share with you the verse He told me:
"Do not worry and be upset. Believe in God and believe also in me. There are many rooms in my Father’s house, and I am going to prepare a place for you. I would not tell you this if it were not so."
"And I will do whatever you ask for in my name, so that the Father’s glory will be shown through the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it."
Have a blessed life children of God! :)
